Native Forest Crafts is a social enterprise rooted in Indigenous knowledge, forest culture, and community-led production. From our production base in Pierre Kondre Kumbasi, Suriname we create handcrafted wooden models, cultural artworks, and sustainable design pieces that tell the story of Indigenous identity, craftsmanship, and deep respect for nature.
Every piece we create carries a deeper meaning. It is not only a product — it is a reflection of our history, our forest, our traditions, and our future. When you hold one of our artworks, you hold a story that began long before the first cut of wood: a story of people, land, and the unbreakable bond between them.
We worked with Quarty Studio for approximately 2 years on the complete overhaul of our house. This included the design of the project, and the execution of the work. Quarty provided excellent design ideas but were also indispensable in managing the practical side of the build.
